This MS (Rouen, Bibliothèque municipale, MS 369, formerly Y.7), in effect a pontifical, comes from New Minster, Winchester in the late 10th century and the editor argues that the Archbishop Robert named is most probably Robert of Normandy, Archbishop of Rouen 990-1037, brother of Queen Emma, who was the wife of both Ethelred II and Canute, and the mother of Edward the Confessor.
