The MS, housed of course in the British Library collections, London, dates from about the second quarter of the 11th century. It is an episcopal book originating in Canterbury, and ff. 17-214 have a collection of blessings, covering on the one hand rites such as those of Holy Week, and on the other episcopal blessings, mainly quadripartite, of the style now termed Benedictiones Sollemnes in the Roman Rite.
